Review of "Rising Tide: Dark Innocence" (The Maura DeLuca Trilogy, #1) by Claudette Melans
Melanson did not disappoint with this book. I hate when books are compared to others, like this one was compared to Twilight. I think it does not give enough credit to Melanson’s work or great story that is uniquely hers. 16 year-old Maura was a great representation of teenage girl outcasts and for a very good reason. Melanson’s characters are well developed and interesting and the story line had me wanting to turn the page.
